I want to get my address book from yahoo to gmail how do i do that?

From your Yahoo! mail, click on "Contacts.





Then click on ""Import/Export" in the upper-right corner of your Address Book.





In the Import section, where it says "Choose a program to import contacts from:", select "Yahoo (.CSV file)", (or "Microsoft Outlook (.CSV file") depending on where your list is).





In the Export section, click the "Export Now" button next to the phrase "Yahoo! CSV"





When prompted, save the CSV file to your desktop (for easy deleting when done).





Then when in your Gmail account, click on "Contacts".





Click "Import" on the upper right





Where it says "Please select a file to upload", select the CSV file you just saved to your desktop.





That's it.





I did this just last week when creating a Gmail account. Worked perfectly.
