Should I get rid of my Yahoo account for Gmail?

I don't know if I should get rid of my Yahoo for a Gmail. Should I keep both of them or is it better to keep one of them? I looked at GMail features and I find them pretty cool. How do I tell my friends I have a new email.

I have 3 Yahoo accounts and gmail and several others as well. It really depends on what you want to do with them. Some are for the IMs and others are for businesses I run.





All have an invitation box where you can notify your friends that you have a new address and wish to use it for their emails and/or IMs.





Some are a lot easier to use than others and a lot more secure from spam.
Reply:The chance of you using one email is likely than many and since you like gmail and still want to using yahoo email. You could get rid of one as the option or using one yahoo email and using the gmail option as well. the good thing about gmail is that when you sign in you do not need to type more than just your account name, so in the sake of time i would suggest you could transfer the important email to gmail.
Reply:I use both. And no one really emails anymore so I just use it for websites that I sign up to.


You can just tell your friends that you have a new email
Reply:If you change, keep one so that if you lose your password for your new one it can be emailed to your old one.
