I opened a gmail account and added my Yahoo email account to it. But I am not receiving my Yahoo mail through my gmail. What could be the problem?

are you sure you are sending to the right address. best way to test this is to send a message from gmail to your yahoo account and when it arrives at yahoo press the reply button and send the response back.
if not it just may be that gmail is down at the minute although I am not experiencing any problems and I can receive and send emails to my yahoo account to and from googlemail (its name in the uk).
